  4. I have a question a little silly. Why the front wings not have endplates on the inside near the nose?

    1. The middle section has to be to an FIA standard shape and aero neutral. No winglets or vanes are allowed in that area.

    2. Matty is right, however they could run endplates next to the neutral central section. This however wouldn't produce the same results currently garnered with tip vortices in the Y250 region, which is a preferable means of controlling how the front wheel wake impinges on the centreline performance. Furthermore endplates increase a wings aspect ratio and to be the teams generate more than enough front downforce.
